This is one of those communities where the house is only part of the value. The house is a three-bedroom, two-bath home with a dedicated office, and that office is not some afterthought jammed into a corner. It sits near the front of the home, gets great natural light, and looks toward the foothills. That is a meaningful feature for anyone spending real hours in that room.

There is also a generous island with outlets built in, and yes, we are fully pro-outlet-on-the-island. It is one of those little details that sounds minor until you have lived without it. Then it becomes weirdly important.

Other nice touches include:

  • Traditional subway tile backsplash
  • Ample counter space
  • High ceilings and strong lighting
  • Easy connection to dining and outdoor living

There is a lot of new construction where the kitchen looks flashy for five minutes but skimps on storage or function. This one feels much more balanced.

Smart Living Spaces and Indoor Outdoor Function

One thing this home does especially well is connect its main living spaces. The dining area is larger than expected, large enough for a six- or eight-seat table without feeling cramped. That is not always a given in this price range, especially when builders start sacrificing dining space to enlarge islands or squeeze in trendy features.

Here, the dining area still gets to be a real dining area.

Even better, it opens directly to a covered back patio through a sliding glass door. That is a big deal in the Treasure Valley because outdoor living is not just a marketing phrase here. The shower is another spot where this builder made choices we like. Instead of punting on details, they included a framed glass shower door. That is not automatic at this price point. In many homes, you get the bar for a future curtain and that is the end of the story.

There was also a nerdy but important construction detail that got us excited: the tile edges were properly finished with Schluter trim. A lot of builders skip that kind of finish work, even in expensive homes. Here, they did not.

That kind of detail tells you something. It suggests the builder is paying attention in places many people would not notice until later.

The Secondary Bedrooms, Office, and Front of the Home

At the front of the house, the layout keeps working hard.

The office is bright and open with glass doors, and it looks out toward the foothills. If you work from home, that is a significant quality-of-life feature. If you do not need an office, it could also serve as a reading room, hobby room, or flexible den.

The two secondary bedrooms each include walk-in closets with built-in shelving, which is a nice upgrade over the standard reach-in closet setup that many builders default to.
